Poetry Slams 2000/2001 |
A huge success, the first annual Mendocino County Poetry Slam was over three hours of solid, well written, honestly expressed poetry...everybody was impressed with the well crafted, often funny, always insightful poetry offered by students from five of mendocino county's high schools---Point Arena High School, Anderson Valley High School, Mendocino High School, Fort Bragg High School and Willits High School.
Congratulations to the 2001 champion...MENDOCINO HIGH SCHOOL
while the judges tallied the scores, slammers took a rapping & dancing break atop the cyberbuss...their refrain:"ain't no party like a poetry party
cause a poetry party don't stop"
