The Comptche Kids' Rain Poem #1
Rain...only rain
Rain was falling on the ground
Sounds like dip, dip, dip, dip
tick tock tick tock, like a clock
rumble rumble rumble
Rain sounds like a river.
sssh sssh sssh sssh...a red snake
plip plop plip plop plip plop
rumble rumble rumble
plip plop
Like water coming out of a big pipe
grrr, grrr, grrr, like a grizzly bear
Rain was falling on the ground, like *ding*
RRRRR, RRRRR, RRRRR, like a big motor.
A deep sound, on the roof
buhhhb, buhhhb, buhhhb, buhhhb
Rain was falling on the ground
splash, splash
click, click, click, click
Really wet and cold
hhh, hhh, hhh
Rain was falling
shsh, shsh, shsh, like a cobra, or a python
a fountain
a waterfall
rain was falling...only rain.

All the Presidents
I see a giant bird in the sky.
I see a president in the sky.
It's one of the dead ones.
I think about President's Day.
I would tell the president
to go up in the sky
and be there too.
So he won't do bad laws.
All the presidents should do that
if they don't make good laws.

The Silent Poem
I saw an angel and it was singing with a trumpet
And they were playing on a cold,
snowy star night.
I saw a river of bugs, flowing
down the stream.
When I was a child, I imagined
I was a bird, flying
on silent wings over the blue sky.

The Queen's 3 Magical Things
I see a castle.
I see a queen in the castle.
She has flying horses, too.
I wish that I could ride
on one of the horses.
She has a magic eagle, too.

Peace is purringPeace is love.
Peace is fall, when
I catch the leaves.
Peace is playing.
Peace is work.
Peace is painting a garden of flowers.

Ribbit Ribbit
I heard a frog in the rain
Drip Drop
The rain tasted like water
Tick tock, tick tock
I like the rain.
