Digital World
My
true
place
is
the
digital. . .
My place is called Gatomon Village.
I see lots of digimon in this digital world.
Sometimes there is war.
I am lonely in my home,
in Gotomon Village, I only
have one friend, it is
Wizardmon.
He was
a good friend.
I see bird digimon flying
in the sky. I see beast
and human type digimon walk-
ing around.
My place will always
be the
Digital World.

If I Were a Whale
If I were a whale
I would dream about swimming.
I would hear the sound
of a crab walking on the sea floor
with a purple shell.
My best friend would be a dolphin.
We would swim to Seastar Ocean.
Si Yo Fuera Una Ballena
Si yo fuera una ballena
yo soñaria en nadar.
Yo escucharía el sonido de
una jaiba caminando en el piso del mar
con una concha morada.
Mi mejor amigo sería un delfin.
Nosotros nadaríamos a Sea Star Ocean.Anahi

In My Secret Town
In my secret town
I can eat what I want whenever I want.
I’m good at things I’m not good at here.
I have lots of friends and no enemies.
I love it in my secret town
and I am the mayor of my secret town.
It is very fun in my town.
I want to take you there some day, and
I will give you everything you want, because
I am the mayor of the town.Crysten

Yo y Yo
Yo me llamo Kate.
My name is like the waves of the ocean that touch the sand.
My name is like the wolf who howls at the moon,
and runs in the middle of the winds.
My name is like the songs of pop and rock.
My name tastes like the tamales and posole of my grandmother.
Me, my name is Kate.Kate

My Soul’s Name
My name is Wolf Boy.
My name sounds like a sheep going bah!
I am a pinecone falling off my branch
onto the bright leaves of Colorado.
Call me wolf.
let me play in my sunny world of freedom
in a game from my name
to a bang!
Out of my same
little soul
in my heart, to my veins
Through my blood, out my cut
Into the dirt
My name is my soul.
Through a universe of my name.Bailey

My Name
There is a darkness
My name struggles but always finds
the way through the dark.
our drums play all around, my name
dances to the drums, it does not care
what other people think, it just
keeps dancing.
The drums get louder.
Sail ship, slowly sail in. The drums
get louder. A black figure walks
out, and holds me tight in the
darkness and blends in. My
name knows it’s there. Numbers
float in , the drums get louder.
My name combines the numbers
together and makes one. Before
time began, these numbers were
apart. My name brought these numbers
together. A family’s heart comes
in to the darkness and finds
my name. The family is together,
my name is in the family. Then the family
is torn up and thrown in all
directions. The pieces are never
sewn back together. My name
tries to ignore every day
what happened to the family, and
just keeps dancing.Ruby

Non-Ode to the Television
Television!
You sweet little dirty rat!
You tricked us all,
no doubt about THAT!
Your screen is
a good mean sight to see
and my eyes don’t
deceive me. . .
. . .You might have us all
fooled with the
mindless “entertainment”
but, oh no, not
me, you
SEE. . .
. . .Why do we pay
money for you
when all you do is
DAMAGE. . .
. . .our brains? You
little
SAVAGE!
You’ve got us all hypnotized with
that fancy little screen of yours,
But I don’t walk through
your doors.
And the only way to
stop
it is to turn
you
off, you see,
‘cuz that television
ain’t gonna get

Poison Oak
Poison Oak, you’re hidden everywhere
You take on many shapes
You look like a blackberry
bush, a stick in the ground,
or just a clump of
red and evil glossy
green leaves on
the ground.Your poison sticks on clothes, and hands,
and pets, and everything. It spreads
very quickly. Your pets walk through
it, you hold them and pet them,
you scratch your face or
brush your hair back,
you lie in your bed. Now it’s in
your pillow,
sheets, and
everywhere. You grow so fast, it’s hard to keep you back.
You’re evilly plotting
how you’re going to close in
on a house, and how to
torture innocent people
with your poison.
Why, poison oak? Why must you do this?
Excuse me now while I wash my hands
with Tecnu.®Emily

A Person With a Story
I am not just a person
But I’m a person with a story.
I defined life like it was never real.
This is a story of some body I lost
It is my father. The person I cared about my whole life,
He is the rising sun
and the breaking out moon.
I would walk miles and miles
just to see him,
But the lives you touch show no fingerprintIf it would take years just to see him
I would still go and see him
I love my dad with all my heart. It is stupid mistakes that
got him in there.
I just want my dad to know that
I will always love him.But as the world turns,
I feel like it is all my fault.
In my whole life, I had problems.
But this was the worst.Out of it all, the hardest was to hear
he’s gone.
I love you Dad.Montana

White Beauty
I belong with
White Beauty
Climbing mountains
watching waterfalls fall
living life
being a kid.White Beauty is mine
and is my adventure
Hearing her trot and
seeing her glow
I know the
adventure has just begun.Lyric
