The Sky or Space

The night sky is orange, blue
even purple, or is it space?
A nebula the color of a
contact lens, or an unborn
baby's heart? Moons, stars,
planets and suns can be
seen almost everywhere.
In a leaf, a Petri dish,
a soap bubble or a hair.
Beauty in stars or
on a planet. Beauty
is everywhere. On a
book, in pollution or in
an eye. Moss is no
excuse to say beauty
is not divine. Moss
has its own beauty in
a way almost everyone
can see. Money cannot
buy true beauty or
even a star. The moon,
the sun and the star's
beauty are left to
everyone to see.
Beauty is colorful,
and color is free.
No man can own
all color. No man can
own all of anything
least of all, beauty.
Stars, or a nebula,
a picture or a mock-up,
of a star's birth is beauty.

Goin' Under

walking down a dark watery hall
take one step, then you fall.
You're under a dock,
            where you walk
you're soaking wet
            the fishes I've met
though you know it is dangerous
                        you keep on going
and you know the water is flowing
you're going.
                        down, under the water
you don't know how to swim
so you reach out and find a limb
you reach up and get out
now you're saved and you can shout.

Still Standing Tall

Darkness reminds me of all my fears
for all the emptiness from all these years.
Today I'm still shedding all these tears
No one knows this life I've been livin'
No one knows why I remain hidden.
Someday I'll be able to speak my mind
Until then, these bars I'll remain behind.
You think you know me now...
You don't know what's been goin' down.
Still I have loneliness that remains inside me
with all the light of love, it still binds me.

She was lost
but only her body
was loved, her body so
different, so unique.
Sometimes she fears to love
someone so much she hates them, but
hate in her mind is very strong love!
Ice is her face, so cold and reused, confused, as
she closes the holy books of loneliness she opens her
eyes--trying to forget what she saw happen.

Hate is a Feeling

Hate was created by man
To some, hate is a secret, locked up inside them and
never expressed until pushed to a boiling point.
To others, hate is a way of life, expressed through
acts of crime and violence, being fueled by other feelings
such as jealousy, anger, fear, or vengeance.
Hate is not only a feeling...
Hate is also a very deadly weapon.

Volcano

Volcano filled with anger
Raging smoke fills the sky
Covering the clouds, white as snow
Only the volcano knows.

Overheated Beef

Anger is like an overheated oven
Burning the overheated beef.
Anger is the sum of all fears
Making your friends burst into tears.
Anger is like kicking the can
Hitting your brother with a frying pan.
Anger is like a voice in the air,
Telling yourself that you don't care.

Beautiful Black Sky

Laying quiet on the grass
Forgetting everything about the past
Looking up at the stars
Just knowing how far, they are.
Seeing the beautiful white Milky Way
Not having anything to say
Looking up just one more time
Seeing the big black, never ending, sky
With stars shining crystal clear
Knowing you'll forget your fears.

Dios     (God)

Esta photo me recuerda de Dios.
Diós es como un sol brillante,
que nos caliente con su ayuda.
            Cuándo nosotros estamos listos,
            pone nuestro cuerpo a dormir
y se lleva nuestro espíritu con el.

This photo reminds me of God.
God is like a bright sun,
warming us with his help.
When we are ready,
he puts our bodies to sleep
and brings our soul with him.

Darkness is like a deep abyss never knowing if someone is going to push you off the edge
and somehow you feel comfortable             like someone is watching down upon you             you know
it will all be over soon             if you walk out of the room     or             the sun comes up
and then as soon as it came it is gone.
