Ocelot Chief

If I was the Ocelot Chief

I would call all the ocelots

and talk about being friends

and making peace.

I would change the valley

so all the animals could hide

and be safe.

Winter is With Us
December 7, 2007

Winter gives rain.

            Little drops of water.

                        Lots of orange peel mushrooms.

Sometimes the sky turns white.

Winter gives us frost and hail.

Winter gives lots of darkness.

Winter makes me work for firewood.

Winter gives us wind.

Winter makes lightning and thunder.
Winter gives storms! Trees fall down!

Storms give you energy!

Sometimes the power goes out.

The lights flicker out.

Winter slows me down.

Winter is when sheep are having babies.

Babies are having their first winter.

We're about to have our first thunderstorm.

My Spirit Cat

My spirit is like a cat

stalking a mouse in the

sky. I will swim in a beautiful

pool of orange sun rays.

I will run around the stars

with the moon light shining

on my silver fur. I will leap into

a bright silver star and fly home

with seven golden eagles, the eagles

have silver eyes that shine brightly.

I

will

swim in

a pool of love.

STOP the WAR

I have a dream that

everybody

can stop war everywhere.

I have a dream that

people

can stop the war in the air

I have a dream that

people

can stop war on the ground

and I wish this could only

happen this year!!!

The Rushing River

I'm going on a walk

today, I am walking to the

river I can hear the river

splashing

I can hear fish jumping

I remember I brought my

fishing rod.

I casted out into the current.

I felt a tug.

I started to reel in the fish.

It was a three-foot steelhead.

I started a camp fire

and cooked the steelhead

and ate it.

Dear Earth

I will give you a wonderful

ring of peace

because I like you.

Let there be more animals

and colors.

It is very fun for you

to make

            raindrops

                 of foods

                      animals

                            and thunder.
