D O T

The Dot.
Looking for it’s shiny little
bead
It flies into the
air
Like heat
rising
Then like
hail
it falls
screaming
It hits
ground
motionless. . .
It moves
It tries
again. . .
going. . .
higher. . .
Into. . .
the. . .
clouds. . .
A flash—
the bead!
the dot
comes back
my littlest of friends

The World

There is a penguin swimming down
rushing through the icy water. Dark and
blue, the salty deep, home to millions of creatures.
Here we have a bushy-tailed squirrel,
jumping from tree to tree. Gathering nuts
and storing them away, winter will be here soon!

There is a fluffy rabbit, white as
the snow, hopping in the cold, cold world around him.

And here I am, all by myself, liking
where I am, right here, right now.

A Peace Dancer

A peace dancer blows you a way
gives you peace for all your life
gives you good wishes too,
all day long.

Ocean

Hearing waves splash into rocks
wind whistling in my ears.
Dolphins swimming under water
jumping up to catch their breath.
The yellow and orange sun
glows on the water.

Smelling the fresh air, looking
at the horizon,
and at the same time
looking at my shadow.

The Breeze

Peace is good when dolphins
jump in the ocean.

Peace is good when cheetahs
run through the waving grass.

A kid writes like a wave
in the breeze.

Where’s My Mom?

I lost my mom,
she blew away, like when a
child brushes the eraser shavings
off of their homework.

Part of my heart left with her
and my brain is stuck in a traffic
of confusion and gloom.

The spark of love, laughter, and
memories ahs blown away with a gust
of wind.

As tear drops splash on the earth, thunder
crashes and my heart shrivels into
a seed that will hopefully bloom
into my mom, and forever live happily.

The True Meaning of Peace

Ohhh! Great Peace.
Sometimes you are my friend
and sometimes my
enemy, but I know you.
Peace, you are good to me.
You are my friend,
you are my shadow,
you follow everywhere
I go. You are a part of
my brain. When the sun goes
down you are gone, but now you
are even bigger. You are part of the
dark-blue, windy, cold sky with the stars
in the grasp of your hand.
Peace you are both Darkness and Light.
That’s the way I want you to be.

Because of Time

Time is a bond
Traps us
Yet sets us free
We go by time

It traps us
Whatever we do
We go by time
The sun is time

Whatever we do
A clock is time
We are time
Why not float aimlessly?

A clock is time
Yet sets us free
Why don’t we float aimlessly?
Time is a bond.
