Cute is pink
it smells like sparkly raspberries
it tastes like juicy watermelon
it sounds like fair dust falling from the sky
it feels like fluffy pillows
it looks like pink cherry trees
pink is cute, like a baby laughingAjna

Excited is bright pink
it smells like raspberry lolipops
it tastes like cubed sugar
it sounds like stars twinkling in the night sky
it feels like squishy marshmallows
it looks like a big butterfly
excited is like going to a pool on a summer dayShayla

I Am a Bomb Fire of Creativity
Creativity is love
that skips
from the burning flame of my heart
the fight can be difficult
but it is the magical part
if I could be more creative
the world would swarm
with my thoughtsMadelyn

Light of the Fire
stretch your imagination
see your wish
shiny in the firelight
run to catch your mind
just in time to make
your wishEmily

Moving Thoughts
My hand is the ground
this pen is a beautiful tree
my hand is a juicy apple
this pen is a wiggly worm
my hand is a black and white show
this pen is a yellow and green sock
my hand is a bouncy bed
this pen is a fluffy pillow
my hand is the bright blue sky
this pen is a colorful rainbow
my hand is outer space
this pen is a bright star
my hand is a mom
this pen is its babySamadhi

My hand and my dream, my image
My hand is a dream
my dream is an imagination
it circles my mind into a daze of confusionmy hand is excitement
waiting to burstmy hand is a bizarre world
my pen is a strange planetmy hand is my life and the pen is the end
my hand is what happens when I fall asleep
my pen is what happens when I wake back upI hope to fall back asleep again

DawnMorning has been
but darkness still wraps
its calming mist upon us
a child says, “could the dawn be shy to bring us light?”
the child’s white smile
will not show at this time of hope
for her mind is wrapped upon thoughts of hope
as the sky of black sparkles and shimmers
like a pond with the thoughts of us
hope is sent up
and a white flash of history creates
a beam of dawn on the horizon
as warming smiles make the light glow brighterChloe

I clutch a flower with my hand
I feel a prick in my finger
I laugh as I see the red rubies fall out from beneath my skin
the rose I grip begins to turn red
as the purity of the flower drips off the petals
the bones in my fingers start to crack as my nails turn blue
from the magic I begin to feel
my pierced hands begins to shake
still I will never let go
the beauty too grand
and the peace to important
so no matter the pain in the flower
I will keep itDeliah

My hand is a five-legged octopus, my fingers are its legs
my lines are the tentacles
and my nails are the teeth
my hand is a motor, my fingers are the gas
my lines are the circuits and wires
my nails are the bolts
my palm is a canyon with long deep crevices and rivers
my fingers are tall towers in the city
my nails are bright blue lights
my knuckles re bare mountains
with no grass
my freckle is a vast blue lake filled with fish
hand is the world my fingers are the continents and my skin is the peopleCeleste

The Lilly Brain
The kid lets out a huge glorious sigh
from sniffing the light pink lily
his heart is glowing enormously
from the melting ice cream
from the pumpkin freeze
with the dust cloud swarming around it
like a sparkling bliss
on the sunsetAndres

Chocolate Chip Leg
One special nighttime
I snuck downstairs
and when I got there
I heard a whisper
my mom and dad were there
and they were eating big bold bites
of what looked like chocolate chip cookies
but for some strange reason
those bites of cookies
gave me the shivers
and so I tried to run up the stairs
but I couldn’t run
and when I looked down
my leg was gone
I guess it wasn’t cookies
my parents were eatingShayna
