On the hills
your blue tail
and striped back darting
through the high meadow
your eyes
jet black centering
it's little world
you touched my skin
with your smooth body
I felt your slippery skin
I hear your voice
crackling through leaves
when you slither in the dark
your little snake-like body
slithering into night
your voice struck me
powerfully in the heart

Dad
You are the one
who takes me to soccer.
We watch the players play
with faith
in your eyes.
I see faith
in your players
kicking the ball
making goals.
You touch my heart
I hear yelling.
Your strong voice
yelling goal
your happy eyes
with glory's voice
great and strong.
I say thank you.Jorge

You were the one
that I scared
on the bank of the ocean.
Your eyes staring back at me
making me feel fishy all around
with your bright scales.
You touched my skin
with your bright sharp teeth
that made me hurt.
I heard you
rattling in the night.
I saw your face
in the sun's glare.
Your voice
made me feel
like a star.Scott

You were the one,
showed me the light:
my heart at your house.
The shining evening
in your eyes:
the most beautiful thing
was you.
You are the sweetest song
full of laughter and love,
showed me life
worth living.
You touched my soul
handed me my life back.
Your voice was the sweetness,
it showed a path for me.
She is like an artichoke:
you have to do work
to get to her heart.
You are like a symphony,
I am your melody.Ian

You were the one
taught me to not stick
my hand in holes.
They will snap at me
not let go.I saw blue lizards
with tongues sticking out.Laughter like a thousand horses
running in the sunset. You touched my
heart
your big blue eyes
shinning like stars at midnight.Your voice
tears
throgh the universe
a tree hitting the forest floor. And my mind
flies into a rainbow
like lightning makes fire.Chance

My Mom
You were the one
you helped me grow
and live my life
in your eyes
I see the love
you have for me
and the family
animals running
makes me think of
your heart pounding
you touched my heart
with love
your voice
ripples through
the air
like a tornado
in my mind
I see the courage
you haveMatt

You were the one
showed me the crystal blue sky
in a summer afternoon
with your sweet voice. In your eyes
your bright blue eyes
sparkling at me in time.I heard
you whisper
talking from your sweet heart. You touched my
heart
with your bright sparking eyes
swirling through the wind.Your voice
melts my ears of love
your lips I wished to see.And in my mind
all I think is you
you make my world
go round.Hailey
