My mind flows strong water
currents down a rocky canyon---Your fish swimming up stream
to find their destination---I am the icy past
trying to break free
a hot flash
to continue my new life---My blod's hot lava
burns flesh of a broken heart---When my heart was one
I jumped pure happiness
wanting my young lover---My body like a tree
reaching up and opening arms
for your fresh air
blowing through the dry leaves
falling from my treeLucina

You were the one helping me
Through the darkness
You showed me how to love again
In your eyes there's honesty
A person who's trust worthy
I feel a natural high
That's got me lifted and drifting
In a dazeyou touched my soul
Made my life easier
I heard a voice tell me
"Quit holding back!"
You're different from any other
Such a unique individual
I chose to love you
Cuz you better me
And you keep it real with me.Christina

My mind flows
a rushing river of my thoughts
beating on the rocks
where the sun dries
my body's reflectionThe constant harmonica
in the universe
a reflection of people
different things to different peopleThe same thing
different conversations
in and out of my head
till my heart is
a rollercoaster
doing loops, suddenly
fallingthen working its way back
up to the topKatasha

My mind flows like
pebbles in a river
searching for a spot.
I remember
pebbles skipping four
times in the river shining brighter
than a crystal.
My body's reflection
just follows the ones before me.My breath
fresh as watermelon
barely cut opened.
Like the universe, a volcano
over flowing
about to erupt
remember it being too hot
fires wouldn't stop burningMy heart's reflection, it never
stops beating!Kariina

I See Me
When I look in these eyes
I feel things no one else catches
a glimpse at
hopelessness for the future
her choices, her burden
desperate need for companionship
her strength in the savage human
world
courage
caged in her inferiority
thoughts of abandonment
makes her cling to anything
devotion to her beliefs make
her not fear death
I hate that person I see in me.Kadie Copley

My mind flows like
the wind through thoughts.I remember
thoughts of loving you
like never loving anyone before. My body is a reflection
of all the things I have ever been through
breathing secrets through your ears
into the universe
my head spinning for you
being there when I most needed you.My heart's a reflection of all
the love you've given me.Elva
